Bahrain, UAE reaffirm bilateral ties

ManamaHis Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister returned to Bahrain after concluding an official visit to the United Arab Emirates yesterday.

During the visit, HRH Crown Prince met Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and affirmed deep-rooted ties between the two countries. 

Wide-ranging discussions were held to find ways to reinforce bilateral cooperation in various areas. 

The leaders also addressed various regional and international developments and issues of  common  interest to both countries.

HRH the Crown Prince was accompanied by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, and a number of Bahraini ministers and senior officials.

HH Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and a number of senior Emirati officials attended the departure ceremony.
