Young Boys go up in HBL Premier League
Manama : Young Boys defeated Khan CC by 78 runs in the HBL Premier league organised by Cricket Bahrain Association (CBA) at the Hunainiya Valley in Riffa. Batting first, Young Boys scored 215 for five in 23 overs and in reply Khan CC were restricted to just 137 for six to fall well short of the target.
In another match, Bahrain Cricket Club crushed Indian Club by 108 runs after notching up a massive 242 for six in its 23 overs thanks to a fine knock by Adnan Butt (61 off 28 deliveries. Indian Club then fell well short of the target as they managed just 134 for seven in 23 overs.
