Brave battle Next stop Abu Dhabi
Manama : After two back to back events in Bahrain followed by a set plan for Curitiba, the biggest Middle Eastern MMA platform Brave Combat Federation, founded under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa will land in Abu Dhabi’s IPIC Arena set for 31 March.
Brave 4: Unstoppable is regarded as the biggest fight card in Middle East history and a studded card featuring a historical title fight between Algerian superstar Elias Boudegzdame (13-4) and former UFC fighter Masio Fullen. The fighters will compete for the inaugural Brave Combat Federation and the crowning of the first ever Brave world champion.
The promotion has added ammo to its arsenal, with the co-main event which features the face of Middle Eastern MMA, Mohammad Fakhreddine (8-1) and facing Marcus Vinicious “Thunger“ Cruz (8-1-1) a highly hyped Brazilian fighter, known to be Anderson Silva’s sparring partner.
Fakhreddine, known for his forward-direction brawling style is on a four-fight win streak, while Cruz has five wins by knockout and on a five-way winning streak.
Jordanian Abdulkareem Al Selwady (6-1) and Alex “Coringa” Rodrigues (5-1) will meet in a lightweight (70kg) feature fight, while Jarrah Al Selawi (8-2 MMA, 1-0 Brave) and newly signed top Italian prospect Daniele “Scat” Scatizzi go to battle. Two Former UFC fighters Alan Omer (19-5) and Robbie Peralta (18-7-1NC) will make their promotional debut. Lastly, a fantastic welterweight match-up pits Ottman Azaitar (8-0) against Charlie Leary (13-7) is also set for the main card.
The Brave 4 undercard shaped up to be star-studded with a bouquet of newly signed fighters and returning Brave fighters facing off.
Jordanian bantamweight (61kg) prospect Jalal Aldaja, will look to make his promotional debut against SBG Ireland’s Frans Mlambo in a bantamweight feature. Mlambo came short in his latest fight at Brave1 and will look to redeem, with a win over Aldaja.
Following an explosive start to his promotional career, collecting a victory over BJJ standout Richie “Boogyman” Martinez, Ahmed Amir has returned and will face Kevin Koldobsky in an interesting catchweight (74kg) battle.
