NBB awards Al Watani Mega Prize winners
Manama : Al Watani savings, a scheme from NBB, has ushered in the New Year with the announcement of the final three mega prize winners for 2016.
The much anticipated luxury villa prize at Riffa Views went to the joint account of Fouad Hasan Mubarak Hasan and Taghreed Hasan Abdulla Mohammed while a Toyota Landcruiser GX-R was won by Krassimira Atanassova Geneva and a Nissan Patrol SE Platinum City was won by Abdulla Essa Abdulla.
This year, the bank surprised the winners and presented the prizes in a new and different style, as they were greeted in a glittering ceremony held in the Riffa Views villa and attended by NBB’s CEO, Jean Christophe Durand, the Bank’s GM- Domestic Banking, Abdul Aziz Al Ahmed, members of the senior management and the media.
Congratulating winners, Abdul Aziz Al Ahmed said, “We remain committed in our efforts and will continue to improve our services to provide the citizens of this Kingdom even better banking products and services and more chances of winning.”
All customers who have a savings account with NBB are automatically entered in the draw. The savings account needs to have only a minimum average monthly deposit of BD50 to qualify for the monthly prizes. In addition to the savings programme, the account itself offers a wide variety of benefits to customers including internationally accepted debit card, the convenience of Internet banking from anywhere in the globe, the ease of making electronic payments as well as transfers and a whole host of other such benefits.
Abdul Aziz Al Ahmed also conveyed the congratulations of NBB’s CEO, Jean Christophe Durand to the winners. The stage is now set for the launch of the 2017 Al Watani Savings Programme. The scheme has till date offered more than US$15 million in prizes alone.
