BIBF CIA now offered in Arabic

Manama : BIBF announced it has launched its Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) programme accredited by the North American based Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) in Arabic. The programme is offered in English since 2013. 

The new Arabic language programme is aimed at benefitting various government bodies, including the Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior and the University of Bahrain. 

Commenting, BIBF’s Director Solveig Nicklos said: “With the launch of the Certified Internal Auditor programme in Arabic, we’ll be able to provide a powerful platform for a group of passionate professionals to learn the various aspects required to become an adept internal auditor.”

The Head of the Banking, Accounting and Finance Centre at the BIBF Deen Jayah said: “The launch of the CIA programme in Arabic is an essential step to help staff working in the government and private sector advance their abilities in the field of auditing without worrying about any language barriers.”

The Certified Internal Auditor accreditation focuses on the Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) and aspects of mandatory guidance under the IPPF (International Professional Practices Framework.
