Ahmed, Al Merisi win Golf series
Manama : Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed and playing partner Khalifa Al Merisi (nett 31.75) won the third competition of the Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club.
Bahraini golfers dominated the competition which saw the duo of Yousef Janahi and Saud Al Sherif (31.875) claim second place and Ali Al Kowari and Ali Mohamed Al Hakam (32.125) came in third.
A gents longest drive side contest on hole 12 was won by Daij Khalifa and the ladies longest drive on hole 18 was claimed by Samantha Hill.
After the competition a prize presentation ceremony took place in the Club’s Members’ Lounge and Adam Dutson, the Royal Golf Club’s tournament Coordinator, was on hand to present the prizes.
