TRA strategic partner for Arab ICT Forum
Manama : The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) Bahrain has sponsored the Arab ICT Forum as a strategic partner. The forum held on Tuesday was organised by the Bahrain Society of Engineers. It is a one-day biannual event, which sheds light on the latest developments of ICT. This year’s event is under the auspices of TRA’s Chairman of the board, Dr. Mohammed Alamer.
“TRA is a continuous supporter of the Arab ICT Forum and we believe it’s necessary to bring the region’s best and brightest together under one roof,” said Dr. Alamer. “We’re witnessing an epoch of technological discovery in our field, one that changes how we carry out our daily lives.”
TRA’s Manager of Spectrum Management Isa Yasser Al Heddi shared a presentation on 5G networks and their applications; defining what 5G is, what makes it different and its drivers and opportunities.
