‘Loyal citizens help nations grow’
Manama : “Nations grow thanks to their loyal people,” said His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the BDF Supreme Commander, during a visit to the Royal Special Force yesterday.
HM the King was welcomed by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Royal Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and senior officers. King Hamad was briefed on the force’s duties and future development plans.
The BDF troop’s combat readiness and rapid response to any duty assigned with them was commended by King Hamad.
HM the King also lauded their cooperation with the BDF staff to fulfil their national duty
in defending the homeland
and its civilisational achievements.
HM the King praised the BDF troops’ continuous participation, alongside their brethren from the Saudi-led Arab Coalition forces, in the “Operation Restoring Hope” in Yemen and their contribution to the humanitarian relief operations there.
King Hamad appreciated the personnel’s high morale and dedicated efforts to develop their combat and administrative capabilities, wishing them constant
success.
