Special service for Bahrainis living abroad, planning to travel

Manama : Bahraini citizens residing outside the country or who plan to travel abroad have been urged to take advantage of "wejhaty" service on its website www.mofa.gov.bh in order to facilitate communication between citizens and diplomatic missions of the Kingdom in case of emergency (natural disaster, civil unrest or emergency evacuation).

"Wejhaty" is a free service performed by the Foreign Affairs Ministry and Information and e-Government Authority through the national portal Bahrain.bh. This service facilitates the citizens affairs and procedures of their return safely. It ensures their safety in necessary cases as well. 

The ministry calls the citizens to register their information related to their trip, address, and contact numbers in the country heading to and their places abroad. 

"Wejhaty" provides citizens abroad with new regulations and relevant laws, introduces them to the reactions on related issues. And It also allows the citizens abroad to contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and embassies of the Kingdom in the world.

The service offers an easy way to register at one time and create a permanent account , in which the registration process will be facilitated in the future to enjoy other advantages. It is necessary to have a basic level account of the electronic key to use "wejhaty" service.
