Bahrain court jails man for burglary
Manama: A Bahraini man, who stole valuables worth around BD35,000, has been sentenced to two years in prison.
The defendant had sneaked into a house at night and took several expensive jewellery.
“I climbed the house fence in the middle of the night, and I got inside through a window,” he told the prosecutors.
Crime scene investigation experts lifted the fingerprints from the scene after the robbery was reported and matched it with the defendant.
Interestingly, the defendant decided to try the perfume before leaving the house, and this has helped the police to identify him.
