Bahrain foreign ministry slams El-Arish terrorist attack
Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday strongly condemned the terrorist assault, which targeted a security ambush in El-Arish in North Sinai in Egypt and resulted in killing and wounding scores of policemen.
The Ministry, in a statement, reiterated the support of Bahrain for Egypt in facing violence, terrorism and extremism. “We express solidarity with the Egyptian Government in taking any decisive actions and deterrents necessary to restore security in the country,” the statement read.
“The Foreign Ministry expresses sincere condolences and sympathies to the families and relatives of the martyrs and wishes a speedy recovery to all the injured,” it added.
The Ministry renewed the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in condemning and rejecting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
