Man molests woman, blames Satan
A 32-year-old Gulf national has blamed Satan for molesting an Asian woman, according to court files. The defendant is said to have slapped the buttocks of the woman and asked to have sex with her while she was walking on a public road.
He also made obscene gestures to her with his hands, and pedestrians intervened to push him away. But he attacked two men with a sharp object, before pelting stones at a third man’s vehicle while it was occupied by children.
The incident left one of the men with wounds in his neck, while the second man lost his conscious after his nose bled.
The defendant was arrested later. “While I was walking, the Asian woman came opposite and said something that I didn’t understand. Then she became angry, and unfortunately Satan fooled me and I molested her. I offered my apology to her, but she didn’t accept it,” he told prosecutors. His case will be heard on February 17.
