HRH Crown Prince receives the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of India
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received His Excellency Vinod Kurian Jacob, the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding and strategic partnership between the two countries, which is supported by multisectoral cooperation and engagement.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of further bolstering Bahrain-India collaboration, outlining the strong people-to-people links, significant contributions of the Indian community, and their role in the Kingdom’s development.
During the meeting, discussions also focused on issues of common interest and the latest regional and international developments.
For his part, HE Vinod Kurian Jacob expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to advancing Bahrain-India relations and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with senior officials, were also in attendance.
