Bahrain Islamic Bank celebrates ‘We Write in Arabic’ talents

Signing ceremony for second-edition publications held as part of Youth City 2030

Bahrain Islamic Bank celebrated the winners and participants of the second edition of its “We Write in Arabic” initiative at a signing ceremony for the published winning literary works, held as part of the Youth City 2030 events.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayed, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, along with officials, writers and participating young talents.

The event marked a milestone for the initiative’s participants, whose literary works transformed from competition entries into published works carrying their names and reaching readers.

Almoayed praised the initiative as an investment in young people’s creative talents, noting its contribution to enriching Bahrain’s cultural scene and strengthening the presence of the Arabic language among younger generations.

He also commended the partnership with Bahrain Islamic Bank and congratulated the winners and participants, encouraging them to continue developing their talents and contributing to the literary scene.

Tawfiqi highlighted Youth City 2030’s role as a national platform for nurturing young talent, saying the ceremony reflected efforts to help young people turn their abilities into tangible achievements that enrich Bahrain’s cultural and creative landscape.

Fatima Al Alawi, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Islamic Bank, said the initiative’s impact goes beyond announcing the winners, as it gives young writers the opportunity to see their ideas transformed into published works and provides their creative voices with a wider platform.

The bank said it will continue supporting young literary talents through the “We Write in Arabic” initiative, helping develop their abilities and expand the reach of their creative works.
