Man Arrested Over Social Media Posts
The Ministry of Interior announced that the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security has arrested a 60-year-old man for allegedly misusing social media.
Authorities said he posted content on his social media accounts that publicly insulted symbols revered by a religious group, constituting a legal violation that could incite discord and affect public order.
The Directorate confirmed that all necessary legal procedures have been taken, and the case will be referred to the Public Prosecution.
The Ministry urged the public to comply with laws and regulations, act responsibly when using social media and websites, and refrain from publishing or sharing prohibited content.
