Kuwait Sports Minister Visits Bahrain

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, received Kuwait’s Minister of State for Youth and Sports, Dr. Tariq Hamad Al-Jalahma. The meeting reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise in youth and sports.

Shaikh Isa highlighted the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Kuwait and stressed the importance of expanding sports cooperation and supporting programmes that develop young people’s skills. He also praised Kuwait’s sporting achievements at the GCC and Arab levels.

RHF Receives Donation

Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation Engineer Ebrahim Dalhan Aldoseri received Bahrain Credit CEO Abdullah Abdulrazzaq Bukhowa, who presented a financial donation to support the Foundation’s initiatives marking its 25th anniversary.

The meeting also discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation and future partnerships in humanitarian work.

The donation reflects Bahrain Credit’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and support for humanitarian initiatives benefiting orphans and widows.

Pakistan Strengthen Economic Ties

Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro received Pakistan’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Thaqib Rauf. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and opportunities to strengthen cooperation, particularly in industry and trade.

Fakhro highlighted the strong ties between Bahrain and Pakistan and the mutual interest in expanding cooperation in various fields to serve common interests. The meeting also addressed matters of mutual interest.

Yemen Reaffirms Support for Bahrain

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received Yemen’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Ali Hassan Al-Ahmadi, and praised the longstanding relations between the two countries and their continued development.

Al Saleh commended Yemen’s solidarity with Bahrain and its support for the Kingdom’s measures to protect its security and stability. The Yemeni ambassador reaffirmed his country’s support for Bahrain and praised the Kingdom’s positions towards Yemen.

Chemical Purchase Service Goes Digital

The Supreme Council for Environment has developed its digital service for purchasing chemicals from the local market, allowing establishments to submit requests for the purchase and sale of chemicals, refrigerant gases and controlled substances.

The updated service fully automates procedures, reduces required steps and documents, and improves the user experience. The processing time has been reduced from 20 working days to five.

Humidity to Drop Starting Wednesday

The Meteorological Directorate said Bahrain will continue to experience hot and humid weather in the coming days, with light and variable winds.

From Wednesday, August 19, northwesterly winds are expected to increase to moderate to fresh speeds, occasionally becoming strong. The change is expected to lower humidity and bring relative improvement, particularly at night and during the early morning.
