The Ministry of Health launched a nutrition symposium and exhibition, bringing together experts, healthcare specialists, government representatives, private sector participants and health partners to discuss the future of nutrition and public health in Bahrain.
The event highlighted the Kingdom's efforts to promote healthy nutrition and strengthen evidence-based public health policies while showcasing national achievements and initiatives in the nutrition sector.
Discussions focused on the role of artificial intelligence in nutrition services, Bahrain's strategy to accelerate efforts to reduce obesity, innovation in tackling obesity, and the future of nutrition through digital transformation and public-private partnerships.
An accompanying exhibition featured Bahrain's nutrition programmes, public awareness campaigns and the development of services aimed at encouraging healthy eating habits and promoting healthier lifestyles across the Kingdom.
