High Criminal Court has postponed until July 12 the trial of 19 defendants of establishing and managing a terrorist organization.

According to the Public Prosecutor and Head of the Terrorism Prosecution, the defendants face charges including forming a terrorist group, attempting to undermine the Constitution, disrupting state institutions, harming national unity, and promoting the ideology of Wilayat al-Faqih.

Investigators said the suspects raised funds for the group, incited terrorism and sabotage, and that some communicated with Iran and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps to harm Bahrain's interests.

The defendants include 11 in custody and eight fugitives. Authorities said cash, books, publications, and documents linked to the group's activities were seized during searches.

The court adjourned the case for further review and legal pleadings.
