Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, has described Bahraini and Arab youth as essential partners in development, stressing their vital role in shaping the future and transforming aspirations into meaningful achievements.

Marking Arab Youth Day, Tawfeeqi said the occasion celebrates the contributions of young people to sustainable development while recognising their potential to lead innovation and progress across various sectors.

She said Bahrain's continued success in empowering young people reflects the vision of Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, which have established a national framework that strengthens youth participation in development and decision-making.

The minister also highlighted the ongoing support of Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, whose leadership has helped build an integrated system that enables young Bahrainis to develop their talents and contribute effectively across different fields.

Tawfeeqi said the pace of global change makes investment in people more important than ever, emphasising the need to equip young people with the knowledge, skills and opportunities required to sustain development and achieve further national progress.

She expressed pride in the accomplishments of Bahraini youth at the local, regional and international levels, saying their achievements reflect their ambition, creativity and competence while demonstrating the success of Bahrain's long-term commitment to youth empowerment.
