Royal University for Women Celebrates 18th Graduation Ceremony

99 graduates receive bachelor’s and master’s degrees under the patronage of Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa

The Royal University for Women (RUW) celebrated the graduation of its 18th cohort, with 99 students completing the requirements for bachelor’s and master’s degrees, under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women.

The graduation ceremony was held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, with Her Highness Shaikha Naila bint Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Royal Foundation for Rescue and Water Safety, attending the event and presenting certificates to the graduates.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahrami, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, Khalid Rahma Al Dosari, Member of the University’s Board of Trustees, along with senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and families of the graduates.

Shaikha Naila bint Hamad Al Khalifa expressed her appreciation to HRH Princess Sabeeka for her continued support and dedication towards empowering Bahraini women across various fields, including higher education.

She highlighted that the new graduating class represents the outcome of national efforts aimed at empowering young women with knowledge and skills to become active contributors to Bahrain’s development journey.

Shaikha Naila praised the Royal University for Women’s advanced academic standards and congratulated the graduates and their families on this achievement, wishing them success in their professional careers and future contributions to the Kingdom’s growth and progress.
