Judicial Training Institute Delivers 77 Courses to Over 1,000 Trainees

The Board of Trustees of the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies held its 27th meeting to review performance for the first half of 2026, highlighting key achievements in training and professional development across the justice sector.

The meeting was chaired by the Attorney General, Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainain, and attended by Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, alongside senior officials including representatives from the legislative and legal sectors, as well as the President of the Bahrain Bar Association.

During the session, the board reviewed operational performance indicators for H1 2026, noting that the institute delivered 77 training courses, benefiting 1,028 trainees across various judicial and legal fields. Discussions also covered institutional development initiatives, digital system upgrades, and efforts to strengthen cooperation with national, regional, and international partners.

Al Buainain praised the institute’s role in preparing and qualifying national talent working in judicial and legal sectors, commending its positive results during the first half of the year. He stressed the importance of further advancing training programmes to keep pace with legal and technological developments, while enhancing efficiency across the justice system.

Al Maawda also underscored the importance of continued coordination between judicial and legal bodies, highlighting that investment in human capital—particularly through both foundational and continuous training—remains essential to improving the quality and effectiveness of legal services in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
