Speaker Hosts French Senate Delegation to Advance Bahrain-France Relations

Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, received a delegation from the French Senate led by Olivier Cadic, Member of the Senate representing French citizens living abroad and Chairman of the France-GCC Friendship Group.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the longstanding strategic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the French Republic, highlighting the steady growth of cooperation across various sectors and the shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties.

The discussions focused on opportunities to enhance collaboration, particularly in the economic and investment fields, reflecting the mutual desire of both countries to expand partnerships that support sustainable development and prosperity.

The meeting also emphasised the importance of continued coordination and consultation on issues of common interest in a manner that serves the aspirations and interests of both nations.

In addition, the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international developments and discussed ways to further strengthen parliamentary cooperation and coordination, contributing to deeper relations between the two countries and their peoples.
