Equestrianism as a Passion and a Life Mission

The relationship between humans and horses is unique. It is built on trust, discipline, and deep responsibility. Equestrian Haya Shaheen presents a different example of this relationship, where riding horses has turned from a childhood passion into a full life path that includes training, teaching, and building an equestrian community.

Haya Shaheen explains that her journey with horses began in childhood, as she grew up loving and connecting with them. She later became more professional in this field starting in 2014. She says that equestrianism was never just a sport for her, but a real school where she learned patience, discipline, confidence, and responsibility, values that strongly shaped her personality and life.

Over time, her passion grew beyond riding. It expanded into teaching and training. She says she enjoys seeing her students improve step by step, and she finds real happiness in sharing knowledge and experience with others and helping them build confidence in themselves.

Haya also stresses the importance of continuous learning. She always tries to educate herself and stay updated with the latest practices in equestrianism, whether through local experience or international sources. She believes that a good trainer is someone who never stops learning.

From this shared passion, she co-founded “Saddle Club” with a group of women riders. It is a platform that brings horse lovers together in a supportive and inspiring environment through activities, camps, and educational programs that build knowledge and strengthen the equestrian community.

She also gives special attention to children in this field. She believes equestrianism helps children build their personality, confidence, and social skills. She says working with children is a big responsibility that requires awareness, care, and precision.

Haya also talks about the impact of equestrianism on women. She believes horses help women discover their inner strength. Horses create a space of calm, balance, and confidence, and help women step away from daily stress and reconnect with themselves.

She concludes by saying that working with horses is a responsibility before being a pleasure. Horses are strong and sensitive at the same time, and they deserve respect, understanding, and care. For this reason, she always promotes a culture of kindness towards animals and building a balanced relationship based on trust and mutual respect between rider and horse.

For her, equestrianism is more than a sport. It is a passion, a mission, and a continuous journey of learning and making a positive impact on others.
