His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued a circular announcing the Hijri New Year holiday for 1448 AH.

According to the circular, ministries and public institutions across the Kingdom will close on 1st Muharram, corresponding to Tuesday, 16 June 2026.
