CENTCOM reports defensive strikes on Qeshm Island military site

- No casualties reported as air defenses remain on high alert

- Ballistic missiles fail to reach intended targets across the region

- Maritime drone threats neutralized in regional waters

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said its forces successfully intercepted multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones and carried out self-defense strikes in response to attempted attacks across the Middle East.

According to CENTCOM, Iran launched several ballistic missiles toward regional countries, though none of the projectiles reached their intended targets. Two missiles aimed at Kuwait reportedly failed mid-flight or broke apart before impact, while three missiles directed toward Bahrain were intercepted by combined U.S. and Bahraini air defense systems.

The statement added that U.S. forces also shot down three one-way attack drones allegedly launched toward civilian vessels transiting regional waters. In addition, CENTCOM confirmed it conducted a self-defense strike on an Iranian military ground control facility located on Qeshm Island.

No injuries or casualties among U.S. personnel were reported in the incidents.

CENTCOM said its forces remain on high alert and prepared to respond to any further perceived threats amid ongoing regional tensions and a fragile ceasefire environment.
