Royal Pardon Issued for 226 Inmates on Eid Al-Adha Occasion
On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect and preserve him, issued a royal decree granting a special pardon and ordering the release of 226 inmates convicted in various cases, after they had served part of their sentences, in addition to a number of individuals who had been serving alternative penalties.
The royal pardon comes as part of His Majesty’s customary generous humanitarian approach and his commitment to providing those included in the pardon with an opportunity to reintegrate into society and contribute to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development journey under his leadership, may God support him, which has achieved significant progress, growth, and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
