Cabinet extends Eid Al-Adha greetings

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the weekly Cabinet Meeting at Gudaibiya Palace today. The Cabinet began by extending Eid Al-Adha greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s citizens and residents, and the wider Arab and Islamic world.

The Cabinet noted His Majesty’s telephone calls with US President Donald Trump and other regional and international leaders, commending President Trump’s efforts to strengthen stability and advance dialogue. The Cabinet also praised Pakistan’s role in brokering a memorandum of understanding among relevant parties.

The Cabinet congratulated His Majesty on the Royal Bahraini Air Force’s 50th anniversary, recognising the King’s strategic vision in establishing the force and its vital role in safeguarding the Kingdom.

Bahrain’s strong showing at the 4th GCC Games in Doha was praised, with recognition extended to HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Shaikh Khalid for their leadership of the sports sector. The Cabinet also highlighted significant progress in the GCC-UK Free Trade Agreement, following the signing of a Joint Statement.
