Bahrain, Philippines Discuss Economic and Trade Cooperation

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, received Gines Jaime Gallaga, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board; Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce; Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company; and Yousif Salahuddin Ebrahim, First Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were also in attendance.

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the close relations between Bahrain and the Philippines, and the continued growth and development witnessed across various domains, particularly in finance and economy.

The Finance Minister also noted the mutual commitment to further develop bilateral cooperation and coordination in support of shared aspirations.

The meeting also reviewed economic, investment, and trade cooperation between the two countries in support of creating broader opportunities for partnership and cooperation.
