Medical Training Window Opens
The Supreme Council of Health has opened applications for the 2026–2027 residency doctor programme, with submissions available online until June 30.
The council said eligible applicants must be Bahraini medical graduates holding a valid licence from the National Health Regulatory Authority, along with certified academic records approved by the Ministry of Education.
Candidates will be required to pass a competitive exam and interview and submit all required documents. Applications from doctors currently or previously enrolled in any health sector training programme will not be accepted.
The programme covers 14 specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, emergency medicine, anaesthesia, radiology, and family medicine.
