UAE envoy reaffirms solidarity with Bahrain following the King’s remarks

HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable from the United Arab Emirates’ ambassador to Bahrain, expressing appreciation for the King's recent statements on regional security and national sovereignty.

UAE Ambassador Fahd Mohammed bin Kardous Al Ameri conveyed “deep appreciation and respect” for what he described as the firm positions outlined by the Bahraini king in recent media remarks.

He said the statements reflected “wisdom and steadfast commitment” to safeguarding Bahrain’s sovereignty, security, and stability.

The ambassador also condemned what he described as “treacherous terrorist Iranian attacks” targeting Bahrain, the UAE, and other countries in the region.

He reaffirmed that the UAE, under President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stands in full solidarity with Bahrain and supports all measures taken to protect its security, sovereignty, and national interests.

Al Ameri said Bahrain’s security is “an integral part of the security of the UAE and the Gulf states,” rejecting any external interference in Bahrain’s internal affairs.

He stressed the importance of respecting state sovereignty, good neighbourly relations, and regional stability.

The ambassador also praised national unity in Bahrain, saying public support for the king reflects strong cohesion between leadership and people and awareness of current regional challenges.

He further highlighted the “deep and historic” ties between Bahrain and the UAE, describing them as a model of Gulf solidarity and cooperation that strengthens regional stability and shared interests.
