Bahrain Foreign Minister Meets Chinese Ambassador to Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments
Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Ni Ruchi, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Manama.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and China, highlighting the steady progress and expansion of cooperation across multiple sectors. They reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening ties and advancing collaboration in ways that serve mutual interests.
Discussions also covered key regional and international developments, including the implications of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz on global maritime navigation. Both parties exchanged views on the evolving situation, alongside other issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed Rashid Al Suwaidi, Acting Chief of the Asia and Pacific Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
