Bahrain to import Russian gas
Bahrain is interested in the realisation of a number of joint Russian energy projects, Russian media reported recently.
Quoting Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza, during his recent participation in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2016 in the UAE, Russian News Agency Sputnik said that “the cooperation would include import deliveries of Russian Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).” “The Russian side has welcomed this proposal since we need limited amounts of gas,” the minister stated.
“In regard to constructing a port to unload LNG, then we would import LNG from Russia,” he added.
