Bahrain, Saudi Arabia reaffirm “historic” strategic ties in Manama talks
His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa met Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi in Manama. Both sides reaffirmed the strength of longstanding ties and strategic cooperation between the two Gulf allies.
Prince Salman highlighted the support of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and hm King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in strengthening bilateral relations, noting that ties are rooted in shared aspirations for prosperity and development.
He also praised the role of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, saying his initiatives and vision reflect the depth of relations between the two kingdoms and contribute to advancing cooperation across sectors.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister said Bahrain remains committed to expanding coordination and partnership with Saudi Arabia at all levels, stressing the importance of building on the strategic relationship to create new opportunities for growth.
Discussions also covered regional and international developments, as well as outcomes of the recent extraordinary GCC consultative summit in Jeddah, which both sides said had reinforced Gulf coordination and integration.
