Weather Tantrums This week - Sunny Start, Humid Finish

Bahrain is set to experience a week of variable weather conditions, with gradually increasing humidity, shifting wind patterns, and a chance of scattered rainfall mid-week, according to the Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications.

The week is expected to begin on a relatively stable note, with Sunday expected to be partly cloudy. South-easterly winds will blow at 5 to 10 knots, occasionally strengthening to 12 to 17 knots, while temperatures are forecast to reach a high of 33°C and a low of 22°C.

On Monday, partly cloudy conditions are expected to continue, with winds shifting to the northeast and gradually strengthening by evening to between 17 and 22 knots. Temperatures will slightly decrease, with maximum levels around 30°C.

Weather conditions are expected to become more unsettled from Tuesday, as atmospheric instability increases. The Kingdom may see scattered showers, accompanied by active northerly winds ranging from 10 to 15 knots and occasionally reaching 22 knots. Temperatures will remain below 29°C, while humidity levels are forecast to rise significantly.

The unsettled pattern is expected to continue into Wednesday, with partly cloudy skies, a possibility of light scattered rain, and humidity levels reaching up to 90 percent.

Overall, the forecast indicates a gradual transition from warm and relatively stable conditions at the beginning of the week to more humid, breezy, and unstable weather conditions by midweek.
