Bahrain–UAE relations hailed as “model of unity”

MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain held formal talks with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
During the session, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa welcomed Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, highlighting the deep fraternal ties between Bahrain and the UAE. These relations, strengthened over decades of sincere cooperation, have become a model of unity among Arab states. The King praised the UAE as a steadfast partner that consistently stands alongside its allies, commending Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed’s firm and clear leadership. He also recalled the sacrifices of martyrs from both nations, whose shared struggle reflects a common destiny and values.
Amid current regional challenges, His Majesty emphasized the UAE’s consistent positions, which reflect a strong sense of shared responsibility. He expressed appreciation for the UAE’s continued support, which has helped Bahrain effectively address various challenges with confidence and capability.
The King further stressed that the relationship between the two countries extends beyond historical ties into a shared vision for greater stability. He reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to further strengthening this exceptional relationship in line with the aspirations of both nations, continuing the legacy of their founding leaders based on loyalty, solidarity, and unity of destiny.
His Majesty expressed his wishes for continued security and stability for both Bahrain and the UAE, wishing further success in achieving the aspirations of their peoples.
