Government to Cover Damages and Medical Care for Victims in Sitra

Acting on the directives of His Royal Highness Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, conducted an inspection visit to Sitra on Tuesday morning to check on the safety and well-being of residents following the recent hostile Iranian attacks targeting the area.

The visit was joined by Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, along with several ministers and senior officials.

During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister conveyed the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s directives that the government will fully cover the repair of damages to homes and properties affected by the attacks. Authorities will also provide suitable solutions to ensure the stability and safety of affected families.

He also reassured the families of those injured that their medical conditions are being closely monitored. The government will ensure access to the best medical services available in government hospitals, bring in specialized doctors if required, or arrange treatment abroad if necessary.

Meeting with residents of Sitra, the Deputy Prime Minister said the hostile Iranian attacks demonstrated the unity of the Bahraini people, who stand firmly behind the leadership of Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

He added that the pain felt by the people of Sitra is shared by citizens across the Kingdom, reflecting the strong national solidarity that defines Bahraini society. He emphasized that Bahrain remains united from one end of the country to the other, standing resilient against attempts to undermine its security, stability, and social cohesion.

The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the government is mobilizing all available resources to address the consequences of the attacks and ensure the safety of citizens and residents. He also praised the high level of readiness and professionalism demonstrated by security personnel and medical teams, highlighting their swift response in saving lives and protecting property.
