Al Hilal Healthcare Group has officially launched its annual Ramadan outreach program, reaffirming its commitment to community support and corporate social responsibility across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Under the banner of the initiative “AL HILAL CARES – A Helping Hand for the Needy,” the group is distributing Iftar kits near traffic signals adjacent to its ten branches across the Kingdom. These kits, carefully packed with essential food items, are distributed shortly before sunset, ensuring that individuals who are working or commuting during the Iftar hour can break their fast on time.

On Thursday, February 26, 2026, a leadership team from the group personally led the distribution efforts at the Busaiteen traffic signal. The team included Dr. Sharath Chandran, Chief Executive Officer of Al Hilal Healthcare Group; Mr. Asif Mohammed, Vice President; Mr. Franco Francis, Muharraq Branch Head; and Mr. Sahal Jamaludheen, Finance Manager. They were joined by several other dedicated staff members in the effort.

Reflecting on the long-standing tradition, Dr. Sharath Chandran, CEO of Al Hilal Healthcare Group, stated:

“During the COVID period, we started a campaign called Al Hilal Cares as a way to support our community. Since then, every year during Ramadan, our teams visit some of the busiest streets across Bahrain to distribute Iftar kits, ensuring that those who are on the road or working can break their fast on time. It is our small way of sharing the spirit of Ramadan and giving back to the community.”

Throughout the holy month, thousands of Iftar kits are being distributed daily by teams from all ten Al Hilal branches. The group remains dedicated to expanding this initiative in the coming years, reinforcing its role in community care that extends well beyond traditional healthcare services.

Al Hilal Healthcare Group extended its warmest wishes for a healthy and prosperous Ramadan Kareem to all residents and citizens in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
