Bahrain, Kuwait Crown Princes Discuss Regional Security in Phone Call

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, received a phone call from His Highness Shaikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait.
During the call, the Crown Prince of Kuwait conveyed the greetings of His Highness Shaikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain. In response, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain asked Shaikh Sabah Khaled to convey the greetings of His Majesty the King to the Emir of Kuwait, along with his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Kuwait and its people.
The Kuwaiti Crown Prince expressed his condemnation of the brazen attacks targeting countries in the region, describing them as clear violations of international charters, national sovereignty, and the safety of populations. He emphasized the importance of safeguarding collective security and firmly rejecting any actions that could threaten Bahrain during regional tensions, noting that attacks on Gulf countries constitute an attack on Kuwait.
In turn, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain affirmed Bahrain’s strong condemnation of the recent attacks on Kuwait and other friendly nations. He reiterated Bahrain’s absolute rejection of any acts that could harm Kuwait or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, or threaten their security and sovereignty, stressing Bahrain’s solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures taken to preserve national security and stability.
The call also highlighted the importance of strengthening joint Gulf coordination to maintain regional security and stability.
