Manama: The Sunni Endowment Authority in Bahrain has confirmed that all religious rituals, including the five daily prayers and Tarawih, will continue as usual in the kingdom’s mosques.
In an official statement, the authority urged imams to shorten Tarawih prayers to no more than 25 minutes until further notice.
The statement said the decision comes “in light of recent developments” and aims to ensure worship continues smoothly while maintaining safety and calm among worshippers.
The authority emphasised adherence to official instructions and taking legitimate precautionary measures, encouraging a sense of peace and serenity in mosques.
Imams are asked to consider the comfort of worshippers while maintaining devotion and concentration during prayers.
