Manama: The Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Bahrain has stressed that ongoing regional developments and external aggression against the country will not hinder its commitment to strictly enforce the law.
In a statement, prosecutors said that actions that harm the public interest or weaken the national spirit will be treated as criminal offences. Authorities warned that any behaviour that could materially or morally affect official efforts to protect society and safeguard public interests will be subject to legal accountability.
The Public Prosecution emphasized that spreading rumours, circulating false information, or sharing news that does not originate from official authorities in the kingdom is a punishable act under the law.
