Cabinet Reviews Security and Diplomatic Outcomes
The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace.
The Cabinet praised the address delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace, held at the invitation of Donald Trump, President of the United States of America. The Cabinet affirmed Bahrain’s firm and consistent stance in supporting peace and peaceful solutions to conflicts.
Ministers highlighted the importance of HM the King’s message, which stressed dialogue, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence among nations, religions, and peoples. The Cabinet reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening international relations based on understanding and cooperation.
The Cabinet also welcomed the outcomes of the recent visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the State of Qatar. During the visit, HRH met with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar. The Cabinet expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to HRH and the accompanying delegation during visits to GCC countries.
The Cabinet congratulated the State of Kuwait, its leadership, government, and people on the occasion of Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day, praising the country’s achievements across various sectors.
Ministers stressed Kuwait’s full sovereignty over its maritime areas and elevations, rejecting any external claims. The Cabinet urged the Republic of Iraq to consider the historical ties between Kuwait and Iraq and to act responsibly in accordance with international law, particularly the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (1982), and existing bilateral agreements.
During the session, the Cabinet reviewed several memoranda submitted by ministerial committees and approved:

A draft law amending certain provisions of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Law.

A draft law amending certain provisions of the Consumer Protection Law.

The government’s response to several parliamentary proposals.
The Cabinet also reviewed ministerial reports, including Bahrain’s participation in the opening session of the 62nd Munich Security Conference, the outcomes of the 6th session of the Morocco-Bahrain Joint High Committee, and updates on the implementation of previous Cabinet decisions.
