Search Called Off for Two French Fishermen Missing in English Channel

Plymouth: The search for two French fisherman who went missing after their sailboat sank in the English Channel has been called off, UK coastguards announced Monday.
The French-registered fishing boat Maranello sank off the coast of Plymouth, Devon, on Saturday evening. Five individuals were believed to be on board; three crew members were recovered and sent to the hospital, while the other two remained missing.
British and French authorities conducted a comprehensive air and sea search but discovered no evidence of the missing troops. The coastguard stated that the operation was called off after taking into account the water temperature and known limits of human survivability.
