HRH Crown Prince Highlights Citizen-Centered Development Vision

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy King, affirmed that the visionary guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa forms the foundation for national work strategies and the comprehensive development witnessed across Bahrain. Prince Salman emphasized that, following the directives of His Majesty, all objectives of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 have been designed to benefit the Bahraini citizen, reflecting the belief that citizens are the core of development and the key to progress and prosperity.

Prince Salman noted that thanks to the cooperation of all members of the One Bahrain team, the national economy has grown more than fivefold since 2000. He added that the launch of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 in 2008 contributed significantly to this growth and economic diversification, with the contribution of non-oil sectors currently exceeding 84% of the GDP. His Royal Highness highlighted the ongoing efforts to achieve the welfare and aspirations of Bahrain’s people.

Expressing pride in the Bahraini people, Prince Salman praised their dedication, productivity, creativity, and commitment across all sectors, noting that national competencies continue to demonstrate excellence in all fields.

The Crown Prince’s statements came during his visit today, accompanied by His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and a number of senior officials, to several family councils including the Kano, Al-Jishi, and Al-Khuzai families, as well as councils of His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council, and the late Yusuf Khalil Al-Muayyad. During the visits, Prince Salman exchanged greetings and congratulations on the occasion of Ramadan, highlighting that the holy month strengthens values of mercy, solidarity, communication, and fraternity, reflecting the deep-rooted unity and cohesion of Bahraini society.

He emphasized that Ramadan councils serve as platforms for exchanging views and reinforce the social bonds that characterize the Bahraini community, contributing to national unity and societal cohesion.

In response, the council members and attendees expressed their gratitude to the Crown Prince for his continuous engagement with the people of Bahrain, his visits to Ramadan councils, and his commitment to preserving and passing down these traditions to future generations. They prayed for his continued health and wellbeing to sustain his efforts in promoting prosperity and development for the nation and its citizens.
