Committee Outlines 2026 Work Plan to Support Bahraini Women
The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning held its first regular meeting for 2026, chaired by Mrs. Dunya Faisal Sarhan, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information and Committee Chairperson.
During the meeting, Mrs. Sarhan highlighted the importance of continuing to strengthen the principles of equal opportunities and supporting institutional excellence in line with the Ministry’s strategic goals. She emphasized enhancing the committee’s outcomes through intensified training and awareness programs aimed at improving performance efficiency and promoting professional development paths for employees according to best administrative practices.
The committee reviewed the final report for 2025 and discussed the main pillars of its work plan for the current year, aligning its initiatives with the priorities of the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women 2025–2026.
