Bahrain Engineer Yaqoub Al Qassab Wins UN Post

The Bahrain Space Agency celebrated the election of space engineer Yaqoub Al Qassab as Chair of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of the United Nations for 2027.

Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Aseeri, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Space Agency, received Al Qassab to congratulate him on securing the international position. The achievement marks a national milestone and reflects Bahrain’s growing standing in the global space sector.
