GCC Heads Discuss 2026–2030 Social Insurance Strategic Plan in Riyadh

Sahar Rashid Al Munaiy, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Social Insurance Authority, participated in the extraordinary meeting of heads of pension and social insurance authorities from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, recently held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting focused on the latest developments in the GCC Strategic Plan for 2026–2030, which is built around six main pillars: enhancing global presence, developing capacities and expertise, expanding social coverage, excelling in customer experience, promoting innovation through technology, and improving cooperation in the transfer of benefits among member states. These initiatives aim to support Gulf integration and ensure the sustainability of pension and social insurance systems.

During her participation, Sahar Rashid Al Munaiy highlighted the importance of unifying efforts and strengthening joint GCC collaboration to keep pace with future changes. She emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to actively contribute to preparatory and coordination efforts with fellow member states, reflecting the Kingdom’s dedication to advancing Gulf integration and fostering constructive cooperation in this vital sector.
