Arab unity has become an urgent necessity: Premier

Arab countries face a common fate, and therefore the Arab unity has become an urgent necessity to stop any attempts to interfere into Arab internal affairs, said Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

HRH Premier pointed out that Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has led a new awakening that established a new era of unity and rejection of any attempt to undermine the security of any Arab country. “The security of Saudi Arabia and that of Bahrain are integral, and the Kingdom will always support all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to maintain its security and the Arab stability.”

“The bold and strong stances taken by Saudi Arabia recently were not only aimed at preserving Saudi security, but also aimed to safeguard the security and stability of all countries of the region,” Prince Khalifa commented. HRH Premier stressed that Saudi Arabia was not interested in interfering in the domestic affairs of other countries and has always called for non-interference in the affairs of others.  “Bahrainis will always appreciate and be grateful to Saudi Arabia for its supportive stances towards Bahrain.”

HRH Premier was speaking in a meeting with the Arab Ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom, led by the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain and the Dean of the Diplomatic corps, at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.   The Ambassadors reiterated their countries’ supportive stances towards the measures taken by Bahrain regarding foreign interference in its domestic affairs. HRH the Prime Minister reviewed with Arab envoys the latest Arab and international developments. HRH Premier lauded the firm stances expressed by the extraordinary ministerial meetings of the GCC and the Arab League, held recently in Riyadh and Cairo. Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdulla bin Abdul Malik Al Sheikh appreciated the Kingdom of Bahrain for its supportive stances towards Saudi Arabia.
