Autumn Fair 2026 Draws Over 200,000 Visitors

The Autumn Fair 2026 concluded its activities at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, recording a strong public turnout and notable international participation, further cementing its status as one of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leading commercial and entertainment events.

Now in its 36th edition, the fair achieved highly positive results, attracting more than 200,000 visitors over its 10-day run.

In this regard, Ms. Dana Osama Al Saad, Vice President of Resources and Projects at the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), said the success of Autumn Fair 2026 reflects the effectiveness of integrated public-private sector partnerships and highlights the pivotal role major exhibitions play in supporting Bahrain’s tourism and commercial sectors.

She noted that this year’s edition recorded significant growth compared to 2025, with sales increasing by 112.6 per cent, the number of exhibitors rising by 15.7 per cent, participating countries growing by 8.3 per cent, and the exhibition space expanding by 40 per cent.

Al Saad added that the high visitor turnout and strong international participation demonstrate growing confidence in events hosted by the Kingdom, supported by its advanced infrastructure and modern, specialised facilities capable of attracting and organising major regional and international exhibitions. This, she said, further strengthens Bahrain’s position as a leading regional hub for exhibitions and conference tourism.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim, General Manager of Informa Bahrain, the organiser of the fair, said the successful conclusion of this edition reflects a continued commitment to delivering a comprehensive event that adds value for both exhibitors and visitors. He stressed that the Autumn Fair has become a well-established annual platform combining shopping, entertainment and business opportunities.

He added that this year’s achievements provide strong motivation to further develop future editions of the fair in line with public expectations, ensuring the sustainability of this long-standing event as one of the region’s most prominent shopping festivals.

The 2026 edition of the Autumn Fair saw the participation of more than 600 exhibitors representing over 24 countries worldwide. This included a strong GCC presence, with 63 exhibitors from Kuwait, 57 from Oman, 31 from Qatar, 10 from Saudi Arabia and 87 from the United Arab Emirates, contributing to the wide diversity of products and services on offer.

The fair also featured a range of international pavilions showcasing thousands of imported products, many of which were introduced to the Bahraini market for the first time.
