Bahrain Strengthens Military Ties with UK Through Sandhurst Visit
His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, and Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, received Brigadier Nicholas White-Boycott, Commandant of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, along with his accompanying delegation. The meeting was held in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Adviser and Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, and several officials from the British Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, His Highness expressed appreciation for the pivotal role played by the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in training and preparing military leaders. He emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to continuing and enhancing cooperation with the United Kingdom across various fields of mutual interest.
The discussions also focused on ways to strengthen joint cooperation, particularly in military training, leadership development, and the exchange of expertise. The talks underscored efforts to support shared interests and reinforce the strong bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
