Cyprus President Praises Bahrain’s Rich Heritage During Museum Visit

His Excellency Nikos Christodoulides, President of the Republic of Cyprus, visited the Bahrain National Museum as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. His Excellency was accompanied by His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce.

Upon arrival, His Excellency President Christodoulides was received by His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA).

During the visit, His Excellency toured the museum’s galleries and exhibitions, which chronicle Bahrain’s rich history and the successive civilisations that have shaped its cultural and human identity. The exhibits also highlight the Kingdom’s commitment to safeguarding its civilisational heritage as a means of fostering dialogue and understanding among peoples.

His Excellency President Christodoulides praised the museum’s organisation and its diverse and informative content, noting that it reflects the depth and richness of Bahrain’s history. He further emphasised that the Bahrain National Museum stands as a prominent cultural landmark, demonstrating the Kingdom’s dedication to preserving its heritage for future generations through a modern and respectful approach.
